Love that stays, Even if they don’t.

soulmates don’t meet by accident. they come into your life like they’ve always been there, their presence feels familiar, like a home you’ve never visited, but always belonged to. you don’t just meet them, you recognize them. but no one tells you that soulmates don’t always stay. sometimes, they’re only meant to teach you, to show you a part of yourself you didn’t know existed. to light a fire in you that will keep burning long after they’ve gone. it’s heart breaking isn’t it? to love someone so deeply only to watch them leave. you tell yourself it wasn’t meant to be, but deep down you wonder why fate would bring them to you, only to take them away. the truth is, soulmates aren’t about forever. they’re about impact, they’re the ones who change you, who break you open, who shows you what love can feel like, even if it doesn’t last.

Well said. Each "love" of our life has been brought to us for a purpose. Maybe to learn from, or to expose weaknesses you need to address in yourself or to demonstrate that your heart can be broken but eventually repaired. Some people are fortunate to find "the one" right away but, for most, the journey is much longer and for many, never fully completed.

that's not a soulmate, soul mates are predestine people and sometimes they meet. Believing in soulmates it magical and has to do with the highest admiration of a divine and pure feeling of encounter. People want soul mates but they themselves are depraved. Better yet if your soul mate is poor will you take him? if not you don't want a soulmate because soulmates are people who reflect from each other like two birds flying on the wild.

@RisingMorningStar7 I really appreciate your perspective, and I agree that the idea of soulmates carries something divine, pure, and almost magical. What I meant in my post is that sometimes people enter our lives and feel like soulmates because of the depth of connection they bring, even if they’re not meant to stay forever. For me, it’s less about permanence and more about the impact — the way they awaken something inside us that lingers long after they’re gone. I think both views can be true, and that’s what makes the idea of soulmates so profound.

@dlubsp A soulmate is much strange encounter. I think what you describe lovers not soulmates.

@RisingMorningStar7 I think soulmates can take many forms — some stay forever, and some only pass through to awaken us.

Soulmates are not about the "happily ever after" they're made out to be.
