I had a similar experience when I was 16. I was on vacation with my family. I wanted to watch tennis so I unlocked the premium channels on the TV. Turned out they were adult channels. My sisters and mom were there in the room with me. Sisters freaked out big time. I still remember my mom trying to cover the TV with her hands and body so we couldn’t see anything. What made it worse is that my poor dad had to pay for it. I was way too innocent back then so I felt extremely guilty and cried my eyes out that night. Now I can’t help but laugh

That happened to me too. I had let my adult son use my desktop while he was here on vaca and he left it signed in to google.... so everything I searched after that left a trail on his account.

Yep! It happens, it's just one of those things that seems to happen sooner or later. It sucks and it's super embarassing, but thankfully, the awkwardness should probably fade pretty quickly. Some parents make a big deal about it, but a lot don't. He might think twice next time about asking for the laptop, though. Most normal parents really don't want to be in that situation, either.
