does anyone wish they could go back to the 1960s and stay there

it was a bit before my time, i was born in 1977, but 1960s britain was where my parents grew up, it was of my parents time and i hear things were so much better back then...no mass illegal immigration for one and britain was british through & through.

Conscription into the military during an unnecessary war no one really wanted, having to fight for basic civil rights, the assassination of major leaders that attempted to bring change heaped on top of the normal angst of coming of age, getting a degree, starting a career, marriage and starting a family -- I'm glad to have been a survivor but no desire to relive it.
