what were you doing in 1988

I was 21, working in one of the most riotous pubs in the east end of London and generally having a ball.

Beginning to feel like an empty-nester. Youngest was still living at home going to junior college preparatory to going away to four-year college. Career was at peak: being flown around the country to other regional operations of the firm as a consultant or head of inter-regional committees.

I was 15 experiencing my first big crush. Going to house parties, spending time with friends and also avoiding violence on a daily basis. Mostly all my friends and cousins were pregnant by 16 i didnt get pregnant until i was 28 and at that time i had been married 9 years already
