when you help someone out financially

and they say they will make payments at such and such time monthly..then that time comes and goes..so you merely ask for communication..and they get an attitude like you owe them money....

anyone else experience this? 😤😤😤

Nephew calls after years and is in a desperate situation. Has no rent money, the van is in the impound, no job. So I lend him thousands. I could hear the relief over the phone, he seems grateful and communicates over the phone for a few weeks but then he ghosts me. He made the decision that it wasn't worth paying the money back. The relationship wasn't worth paying the money back. That hurt.

@Pitchblue what an unmitigated grrrr of a person. it is like assigning a value to your ENTIRE ESSENCE as a person.
@foldedunfolding Yes. I was the last person he could call. He has disappointed so many people. Most likely owed to much money to his parents to call them again. It's like I saved him from becoming homeless and he said F O I got what I wanted so I don't need you anymore.

@Pitchblue he is a TRUE idiot because he lost the ONLY person he had not yet disappointed..and someone who was superly generous to him!! i hope you BANK treasures in heaven, man. God sees.
@foldedunfolding God has not been generous so far.
