It's very mystical. There is a forest behind my house and it always intrigues me that on the sunniest day it's still dark from the canopy of trees but animals still live and plants still grow @Helioskull:
@Ginaa: It's because a forest is nature untouched, it's what the earth has potential to be. That is the intriguing part of the forest. It has what is left of pure nature upon this earth and slowly humanity's destructive nature continues to take more and more away until there is nothing left. A frozen forest however... It preserves everything... Frozen in time until the winter ends nothing changes in a frozen forest... That, is the true beauty of it as well
