What is consciousness when we dream? Maybe destiny is real...

When I was younger I dreamt that I got stuck inside a basement room with glass walls. I got trapped inside and there was no way my family could get in.

I somehow now believe this was a symbolic dream predicting what would later come to happen in my life. In a sense I now currently feel trapped inside emotional walls which my family cannot get in.

It's interesting how after all these years I can still remember that dream.

This has me thinking that maybe destiny is real.

I believe our lives are what we make them. We are in control, although some don't think they are, but they are. Things just don't come to us. We must go after them and make our lives count. Not waste them. If it's gonna be, it's up to me.

I don't believe in destiny because that would mean the whole world is like a movie, and we are at some point in that movie; we don't know what will happen but the future (=the rest of the movie) is already specified. It would imply there is no such thing as freedom; freedom would be an illusion, and I do not accept that point of view.

I dont believe that when i have wierd dreams i think about what i saw the day before or what i experienced it could be as simple as being in a hardware store looking at glass does or looking in a mirror you never know till you look back ,I dont believe that destiny is predetermined I think we create our own destiny.

Nah… Sins. That was a warning most likely to try to prevent it… but it still happened. Looking back now I realize I also had many signals and warnings about the deep 💩 I was getting myself into… but I went right ahead and ignored them all. Had I not, none of this “fate” would ve happened.

Idk about destiny but I've remembered dreams that served as warnings for what was about to happen in the very near future. I didn't know at the time but when I think back I'm grateful.

No, I don't believe in destiny but I remember many of my dreams from years ago. Some symbols are easy to understand, others I still don't get to this day.
