Weird Dream (Recurring every so often)

Ok, so i have this dream every few years which feels so real at the time, in the dream i walk through a hotel in a series of narrow corridors which are quite narrow and no windows, sometimes there is a different parts of the hotel and the odd strange character but not always that i don't talk to just keep walking, its like a secret set of corridors and eventually lead to my apartment which is hidden and is always cosy and warm but does not seem to have windows and is small. the dream is so real at the time that it makes me wonder if this place really exists, the dream usually happens every 2 or 3 years but sometimes longer and always makes me feel like i keep forgetting about my apartment but the apartment is always the same and untouched. any idea of the meaning of this dream? or why its recurring?

Makes me think of a ghost story where this guy has a recurring dream of entering this great mansion and then wandering up and down the corridors. One day while out driving he sees the actual mansion of his dream and it is for sale and so pulls up, walks up the drive and knocks on the door. A butler answers and tells him that nobody wants to buy the place as it is haunted. The guy says "Who by?" and the butler says:- "You".
@SW-User sounds like something twilight zone ish lol

Wow interesting. I heard a theory that we are seeing ourselves from another demention. If thats true my alter self is not doing so good.
I have dreamed in like a TV series. After I saw Dream Scape for a short while I was able to maniputate my dreams some, or at least I knew I was dreaming and could end it.
Maybe this hotel is some place you will go some day.
@Confined maybe, its definatley weird

That's interesting! I plead ignorance, but I would like to hear what a psychologist would say. I had a recurring dream as a teenager. I would be driving on a mountain road in the Georgia mountains with a girl by my side. As we rounded a curve, a logging truck would be coming toward us in the middle of the road, forcing us off the side of the mountain. It didn't worry me because I didn't plan to be driving in the mountains. Then my girlfriend/future wife went to a college in the mountains. I had to drive those mountain roads on every date. That dream finally went away.

@exexec Wow!!! Did any section of the road look familiar?

@ProfessorPlum77 Yes. Driving up to Lake Winfield Scott, I had the eerie feeling that it was the road in the dream.

I can usually interpret my own dreams because of context which a book or shrink would never know..its ver claustrophobic , confining(your dream) resonate with anything in your life,even metaphorically ?
@bookerdana interesting, not really sure but i know i like freedom lol

Just my experience with someone I knew on EP.

He kept posting about a dream he had every night before it happened. In desperation asked if anyone could help him interpet it, no one replied.

He died exactly like he descibed in his dream. I found out about it from his sister who went on his account after.
