Adelina leaves for California again today and won't be back for over a week

That'll be good for her, being with her family again for a long while. Especially now that our little Ulysses can't keep her company anymore. She said she would leave him with us while she's away. Just like she always would while he was still around. Even though it's only his ashes we have of him now, it'll still be comforting knowing he'll be with me rather than sitting in an empty house to gather dust. That and I'll still get to hold him close to me every day for a while.
