Harry Potter. I know everything ended with a happy ending for Harry and his friends, and Hogwarts was saved. But the story of The Boy Who Lived is actually bittersweet. His whole life has been surrounded by surprises and tragedies. His dad was killed savagely, his mother was killed due to her killer's impatience. Harry saw his mother die (the books backs up with the movie. Some of us would think that 1-year-old Harry was asleep when his parents were murdered, but the book, the first and third book gave us a confirmation that he was wide awake, witnessed his mother's death. In the first book, Harry seemed to remember seeing a flash of green light. Then Book 3, gave us some insight of what went on during the night his parents died. In Book 3, when the Dementor came close to Harry, he heard his mother pleading with Voldemort to spare Harry). A 1-year-old boy witnessed his mother die and didn't remember it. No 1-year-old should have to go through something horrible when they are at the age of when they don't understand things.
Not only that, but Harry's dad, James' friends all died one by one. Sirius, one of James' best friend, (they were like brothers to each other. When Harry was born, Sirius was appointed to be Harry's godfather if anything happened to his parents) Harry watched him die in front of his own eyes, by his godfather's cousin, Bellatrix. Then, Peter killed himself in front of Harry, then Lupin died during The Battle of Hogwarts, along with his wife, who weren't married for long (I guess you can still call them newlyweds since I think it hadn't been that long since The Battle of Hogwarts). Before Lupin's death, he witnessed Dobby being killed by Bellatrix. Before Peter's, Dobby's and Lupin's death, Harry witnessed Dumbledore being murdered by his dead mother's crush, Snape. Those people, except for Peter, were close to Harry and he looked up to them. It's already distressing enough that Harry will never be able to know how his father, James, really was, during his school years. There felt like no time to chit-chat about James from Sirius and Lupin. As far as we know, Harry only saw small bits of what his father was in his time at Hogwarts.
Harry's Aunt Petunia never spoke a word about Lily, so Harry was bound to not know a single thing about his mother. And there seemed to not be anyone who knew Lily personally besides Petunia and James (maybe Peter, Lupin, Sirius and Snape as well). There was no mention of Lily ever having any friends at Hogwarts. He knows more about his father than his mother, even though he saw the memory Snape gave him before he died.
It's already heartbreaking enough that Harry doesn't know anymore information about his parents. And everyone (apart from the remaining professors at Hogwarts, and the professors who had taught The Marauders, Lily and Snape and Petunia) who has ever known his parents personally has died. At this point, Harry has no wizarding blood relatives.
