I wonder what extent people are really willing to go to for change...

We all entertain theatrical fantasies of violent and/or dramatic revolution, but what if true change required you to live differently rather than to die and/or kill?

What if change required you to do work on a daily basis? To be part of a community? Do you think you could do that in order to live the way you truly wish to live?

Generally, violent rebellion only works as part of an incremental step in the road towards positive change. And even then, most revolutions against domestic governments make things even worse.

@BlueVeins yeah i dont think a full scale revolution would help in the USA. It would just devolve into chaos as paramilitary groups fight each other for control....if they could even initially succeed in overthrowing the current government that is.

Organized violence against the elites who are controlling the government with their money?

Now that may work out.

But too few have the right combination of brains, balls, skills, and little-to-lose, to make that happen.

I could/would. My natural mentality has always seemed to be "do for the greater good". Even as a kid, I would go without so that others could have things they needed. I'm also the type who would happily see my taxes slightly raised in exchange for good health care being provided for all who need it. I'm a Democratic Socialist at heart I guess. Lol
