What’s a scary experience that still haunts you?

Inquiring minds want to know. It can be as long as you want. I’m intrigued.

When I was 21 I worked with a guy that I got a bit closer too. We dated but I soon realized he had an issue with alcohol and cocaine. I was at his house when I confronted him about how his issues were starting to scare me. Not sure if he was drunk or on something but he raped me. I was too afraid to say anything because of fear of losing my job.

Soon after I found out I was pregnant and there was no way I would be able to have a child from rape, or with him. I had an abortion which I still feel weird about. But he found out and we worked at a sheet metal factory, so he started threatening me. He would pretend he was going to bash me with a hammer or cut me with metal scraps. He would leave me nasty voicemails and told other people at work I aborted his baby. It was so psycho.

When I quit my job I felt like the HR guy knew. I felt like other people knew he raped me but in those days (especially being a woman in a “man’s job”), it was suck it up or quit. They even asked me to stay but move to a different department. I was too scared.

I went to work at Home Depot just to get any job other than working with him and he would show up just to stare at me.

The crazy part was the last time I heard from him was a voicemail. He called me all day. I could always tell how drunk he was because the messages started out pleading then by the end of the day he was threatening to kill me. But the last one he sounded like a demon. I couldn’t understand his words but then I heard a lot of noise, yelling, truthfully it sounded like he was getting beat up then his phone got thrown in the road and hit by a car.

I never heard from nor saw him again. But his name and face still haunt me.
@SW-User I have no words other than I’m so sorry. 🖤

@SW-User That is terrifying. I’m so happy that you stopped being contacted by that monster. I hope you’re safe and doing well.

@SW-User Such a sad story, thank goodness you did something about it and washed him away from your life. You closed the door and locked it for good. That is the best thing your life needed

If i could, and knew the particulars needed.
I'd hunt him, stalk him, and end him.
