What’s a scary experience that still haunts you?

@JustGoneNow Doing my best. :) I just wish this anxiety would go away or that it wouldn't pipe up when I smoked weed. That's been the only thing keeping it at bay for so long that I fear my body may have turned on it.

@thepeculiarpanda have you looked into any potential pharmaceuticals? I just know that I’ve been pretty messed up the last four years or so, and finally got brave enough to discuss with my psych, how close I was to a full break. We changed my main med and I’m like a whole different person… more like I used to be before I got sick. Not well, mind you… I’ll never be that again, but at least manageable, which I haven’t been for a very long time. Maybe you’ve already been down that road or maybe it’s something you are against. I respect all that and any positions you might have, but if it is something you consider, you never know… ya know? Just keep reaching… sometimes there’s a hand.

@JustGoneNow They make me really nervous because they're the reason I'm disabled to begin with. I was on Cymbalta briefly recently but it was causing erectile dysfunction.

Might look into Wellbutrin. I'm just sick of the rotating list of medications and the hope that keeps getting pulled out from under my feet. 😅

@thepeculiarpanda oh my goodness. I am so sorry. No wonder you get nervous about it. I’ve never had really bad interactions with medicines that I remember. I had a couple that made my hallucinations worse but I was really deep delusional already, so I’m not sure the degrees of, matter at that point. And one made my anorexia worse, so that was kind of a mess. But nothing like you have had. One thing you might discuss with someone… if you’re comfortable is exactly what mental conditions you are treating. Many Drs call it all depression and just treat that, but it sounds like you are dealing with anxiety and Wellbutrin is an antidepressant and doesn’t do shit for anxiety. You may need something else. Something targeting what mental illness issue you are actually dealing with. Just my thoughts. Be safe. 🖤

@JustGoneNow Might be time for some ativan or something. I'm gonna start seeing a psychiatrist in January so hopefully they can get me on the right track. :)
