It makes sense to me.

A hug, touch, something soft....these are peaceful and intimate, the very opposite of the noise and lights.

What I hear you craving is a purely human experience. Human experiences are the very things that the stuff and the noise can try to drown out.

I get it. We all need to turn down the volume at times and just....be.

Sometimes "being" in solitude is what we need. But at other times, "being" in intimacy with another is what we need. In both cases, not necessarily "doing" anything, just being.

You make a lot of sense, and you show a lot of wisdom in your words.

It actually makes perfect sense Bexsy. When things get like that, you need to just stop, take some time to re-assess, take some deep breaths, re-focus and then continue. Feel free to message me anytime you feel overwhelmed with life. I may not have the answers you are looking for, but I'm always willing to listen and offer advice.

It sounds like overstimulation probably from fatigue. Wanting comfort in that situation is completely normal! This actually might be your most normal post I’ve seen so far. You make perfect sense to me.
