I took 4 days off of work and I can honestly say I resent my job at a soul level

I needed a break and I felt peace, I felt free. Today was my first day back and I went right back into the hate my life depression spiral. I felt angry again and annoyed and my happiness was gone. I know I need a new job but what? That's just it I don't know what will make me happy anymore.

What is the job that you are doing now? Could you maybe fet on with a construction company..or a renovating company. If.i hated my job that much. I.would just walk out. Ive done it many times. Ive always had a job. Even with burning as many bridges that i have. I hope you find something that you want to do.

@Eddiesolds I work at a smoke shop behind the counter. I'd love more than anything to just walk out but don't due to lack of plan and lack of funds.

It sucks, just try and plan your next move, have fun in your free time.

@smileylovesgaming Just about everything but mostly just how thankless and unfulfilling it is. I feel isolated and like I lack purpose. I just wonder why I'm even there

@Musicman I was trying to become a tattoo artist in my early 20s but got disillusioned and gave it up. I think I could sell my work I'm not sure never tried. I didn't like fast food or retail and I really liked my kitchen job until management changed and it became stupid central.
