How very frankenstien-ish
A dead brain's connections would be severely compromised due to death, you would need a functioning system. to access and process memory reanimated muscle contracts like a spasm but does nothing independent. Of what the brain signals

You need to understand neural nets.
Once one pathway is broken you can still get around the blockage. Once all pathways are broken, then no you can't get around the problem.
The Internet itself operates the same way.

@caPnAhab here's a lengthy article on it..

you can make new pathway around the problem .. mushrooms will create new neural pathways..tho what you have lost might never come back
@markinkansas mushrooms do not have brains, and are irrelevant to the gentleman's question

To recall, you have to be able to think. How does a dead person reminisce?
Our brains are more than a piece of muscle. Scientists do not know what the brain is. We know it controls the nervous system. The nervous system has more to do with our body than we realize. The rest of it is a mystery. I think God decided we would have free will, and a brain is necessary for free will. To use free will, you need to have knowledge, and the knowledge needs to be plentiful. Without a beating heart and oxygen, it dies. The soul may not die, and this is a part of who we are. Can the soul keep the brain alive?

No i dont think so as itd also need oxygen.
Electricity is only one component of what triggers thought and muscle function.
Its also mitochondrial and chemical amd enzyme shit as well.
So .....maybe after a short time dead while there is still warmth and some oxygen and living protiens and stuff in the body, but once truly cooled off and completely dead - no i dont think any electrical input would do amything.
Itd be like plugging in a broken radio - all the current in the world wont fix broken wiring or burnt out capacitors.
But im no doctor 🤷♀

@OogieBoogie good explanation. I trust it
You mean can you extract memories from a dead brain? No idea.. no even sure how they work when they are alive .. it's sure to be misused if they ever figure out how.. to literally read minds' contents
Plant some mushrooms in my brain when I die and then try it

I believe so. I mean, you're talking here now, right?

It would be possible, though only in theory.
