If you don't have kids....

What are your thoughts or wishes on the subject? Its a topic Im really undecided about. On the one hand I LOVE kids, all their curiosity, laughter etc. I was in child care and teaching several years. But because I have never really known my own wants, I question DO I want my own baby? I think as I write this, its a yes..They're little faces and love would be a miracle. ❣️but if I couldn't or didn't have one, It wouldn't be the end of my world.
Do you have a preference, or take a *see how life unfolds* approach?

I don't seem to have a maternal instinct and I believe I am one of those people who just shouldn't have children.
I also have been at a dark place mentally for way too long and wouldn't have many positive things to offer to a kid growing up beside me.
Looking at other people how they seem to think and feel, I think there's been something made differently in me that makes me view certain things and feel about them differently.
