trigger warning / your thoughts?

A German court sentences 101-year-old to 5 years for role as Nazi guard.

The man, identified internationally as Josef Schuetz and as Josef S. in Germany due to privacy laws, has repeatedly denied the allegations and claimed he was an agricultural laborer in a different area of the country at the time, according to Deutsche Welle. He was not identified at his sentencing hearing.

“I don’t know why I am here,” Schuetz said on the last day of his trial Monday, according to Agence-France Presse. His lawyer, Stefan Waterkamp, did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Washington Post. Waterkamp previously told AFP he would appeal a guilty verdict.

They go after the lowest people and let the big ones escape. That says a hell of a lot.
He knows why he’s there. And he deserves a good hanging. Short rope, short drop - nothing quick.

I don’t know what you mean by “trigger warning”. But I see no purpose or justification in pursuing people of that age so long after the event.

I read about this, damn. Guess you really can't escape the long arm of the law.
