My new therapist says “yeah buddy” every few sentences

I would not like the Yeah Buddy thing, that is for people who have walked your path and know the troubles of it. And then the young lady thing seems a bit grandpa Ish.

No, I want heard and actually conversed with not catch phrases. that is just me. 27 years of combat training and combat leaves me with little patience for not being heard.

That’s good some therapist bang their clients so it’s good he’s polite n has boundaries. Some clients also try to seduce their therapist so it sounds like he’s defusing the potential for such as per his training. Hope sessions are good.

Well young lady, you certainly have had an interesting life, yeah buddy, you have shown that you are tough, resistance and a great fighter, yeah buddy, and you have set a great example for your child.

Now you just need to improve at the 3 things we talked about and I'll see you next week, yeah buddy.

Mine always answered a question with a question, and NEVER answered a single one of my questions...

So I asked/begged them to quit or find someone else, they said no...

I admit, I started lying to him...

He kept asking my why do I think this or that... and I tried extremely hard, but I ran out of answers and kept telling him that, he kept trying to get me to tell why I thought that was and I had no freaking clue...

I needed a back and forth, not a mirror just asking me to answer everything

Not sure if he's just an old dude trying to be relatable across generations, or what.
