Group therapy

Has anyone tried it.
Ive been thinking about it because at times i feel very alone and like no one understands what I'm dealing with.

I go to regular talk therapy and it helps but i still feel very alone.

Group therapy can be really helpful for people who show up open to it. it sounds like you want to connect to people, so it would be a good fit for you. People who are in the mindset that no one could possibly understand what they’ve been through and are indifferent to other people’s experiences tend to show up to group therapy already deciding it’s not going to work for them, so they don’t make an effort to connect or see it as a healing opportunity.

@WhateverWorks i only have a few people in my life that understand what im going through and that can feel very lonely. I just want to share with others who understand what im going through and maybe are dealing with similar issues too.

Do it, do it, do it. If you don't get anything out of it, you can stop going. But it can't be oversold how positive it is to be in a room full of people who know your story before you even have to tell it. Try it and I'll bet you find something you can use, even if it's just a new friend.
