Just Got Home with a New Knee.

Knee replacement went well, and after a night in the hospital, I'm home. I'm ready for the fun of physical therapy!

i had surgery 3 weeks ago because i was hit by a car. I had 2 tears in my meniscus. go to PT. it will help

@akindheart I'm sorry about your injury. This is my second knee replacement, and I am a firm believer in PT.

@TexChik yep. landed on her hood. i thought i was ok too then the leg started causing me trouble. an MRI showed a medial and posterior tear right where she hit me.

@akindheart great 🤦🏻‍♀️ ! I hate that that happened . Is the cartilage going to heal ok ?

@TexChik its the meniscus. it was hanging by a thread. he repaired it but I still can't kneel or squat. but i will survive. i am in PT. it helps the knee cap from slipping. i was getting bone on bone. they are strengthening the quads now
