@PatKirby 30 days off work. Rehab in their center for a month or so.

@Muldoon That is a generous insurance company. They tend to make their own rules until a subscriber hires an attorney to force them to follow their policy.

@Crazywaterspring the hospital tried to add another $2000 to my out of pocket but I refused to pay it. My insurance co said don't pay on the hospital request. I never heard back from the hospital.

I looked at all the paperwork over a period of days after the hospital tried to do the same to me. I paid only what I negotiated down to. These people are healthcare hoodlum$. It's a racket.

@PatKirby the hospital makes more from private insurance so they go as far as they can on billing. Medicare or Medicare pay less, more like 30% or so.
