I almost never turn the Linux machine off, so it pretty much runs until there is a long enough power failure to drain the bsttery backup. Probably 3 or 4 months.
I seem to need to shut down the windows machine at least every couple of weeks. Just not all that stable.

@FrozenWasteland EXACTLY!
Remember when people used to write about how long it took for their own Windows machine to crash, from startup to crash, just doing NOTHING? LMAO
Any machine which does THAT has unstable software or hardware...and my bet favors the spaghetti code out of Redmond...

When I still had a desktop, that thing would run 24/7. I use a laptop now. I only use it for gaming and I’ve gamed all day with it before, so I’m gonna say the longest that’s been running must be around 6-8 hours straight.

Possibly 2 days if I was rendering something overnight but I'm not sure. It was a long time ago. Now it's not more than 18 hours and that is extreme. 10 hours normally.

Months. I prefer using sleep mode rather than completely shutting it down unless it's required.

I no longer have a desktop, not in years, and haven't touched my laptop since march of this year, now I do pretty much everything on my phone.
