I remember when the internet was a place shrouded in mystery.

It was place where you had to look hard to find stuff, I guess that's why I was into experience project. Looking for diverse minds, now everything that is anti- establishments is consider hateful. back then it seems people were more concealed and trustworthy, that is why I don't trust people online anymore. To pour yourself out and speak of things is futile.

Internet is a double edged sword,

On one hand, I like it and view it as "not much has really changed since the days of EP" as long as I'm careful about the info I share, take necessary precautions etc

on the other hand, online presences is becoming more and more essential (for things like employment, etc), which scares me a little, because anything you say or do isn't as easily forgotten in real life, and it's harder to come back from mistakes, misunderstandings, miscommunications etc.
It's like ya cant be human anymore
