how do you go outside & do things with severe social anxiety

i asked earlier but got no responses.

its an ordeal for me everytime i have to leave my home, i get self conscious and think people are observing me in public, or i get scared i'll get embarrassed in public or people will see it and laugh....or they will see my anxiety and discomfort, or someone might take advantage of my vunerability.

i have to go out shortly, what can i do? i'm 46 just to add.

Make it as short a trip as possible, doing only what you need. Take breaks for yourself while you're out, if you can, returning to your car, if you need. Calmly focus on your breath as you continuously remind yourself that you're okay. Know the universe has got your back, and that your anxiety is only temporary. When you return home, congratulate yourself for facing your anxiety. Keep in mind, people care about you, and that you're not alone with this.

Seek therapy. Get on meds. Nothing wrong with seeking help. Im sorry to see so many that have social anxiety that bad that you cant leave your house. I have sometimes social anxiety but not to the level of this. What is making you feel this way? Once you figure it out , you can work through it
