Yes, knowing they have no interest in me other than a friend or acquaintance I just avoid being around them.

@Matt85 I have all the friends I need in this world. How I understood your question was do you avoid a person you fancy, and my reply was yes, I do if they are involved or fancy someone else. That is called common decency and respect.
