What is the most desperate and uncomfortable decision you've made as a result of economic distress?

Mine dates back to early COVID.. I was walking past an alley, feeling very hungry. I didn't have quite enough to buy ramen noodles + another thing or two to make it a full(ish) meal.
I noticed a lady throwing a diaper in the dumpster in the alley, before pushing her baby stroller out the other way. I looked around, made sure enough no one would see everything. I fished inside that dumpster just a bit, found the diaper and.. hunger was briefly cured, stomach aches, rough night.

Selling my 1996 Toyota Celica (my first love) because my wife was pregnant and we needed a car that would fit child seats in the back.

Sorry.

Are you food secure now?

Uhh I’d have to say risky options plays in my portfolio that ended up failing 😖

Yeah you turned to eating a diaper before digging up earthworms

@Jackaloftheazuresand The diaper was only a bowl, I only ate the organic contents.
A new fetish is learned about every day

@V00doo Although it may be natural to come up with such conclusions since you probably can't relate to it, this was my plight. "Food is food" was taken to an extreme that has left a scar on my heart to this day.

Seems like some kind of fetish than real.

@OlderSometimesWiser He's admitting that.
