I contacted the unhoused guy's brother...

So freaking sad, but he has gone downhill so quickly, and I can tell he has developed schizophrenia. His brother and sister are looking into bakers acting him :( He has been getting trespassing misdemeanors right and left, bc homelessness, frankly, has been criminalized in this country. He is on my couch right now, talking non-stop to invisible friends and motioning...something he hadn't done with me even 3 weeks ago.

It is nice when someone can offer at least temporary relief to someone who is homeless.

What would be hard though is - what does one do if the situation becomes too difficult?

Also if someone cannot afford stable residence, how does the court expect them to pay off whatever fines for misdemeanor charges?

@Punches exactly..it is so rough. i offered him a place to stay, but he has become so unwell in just the last few weeks, he couldnt even handle a simple job.
