I contacted the unhoused guy's brother...

So freaking sad, but he has gone downhill so quickly, and I can tell he has developed schizophrenia. His brother and sister are looking into bakers acting him :( He has been getting trespassing misdemeanors right and left, bc homelessness, frankly, has been criminalized in this country. He is on my couch right now, talking non-stop to invisible friends and motioning...something he hadn't done with me even 3 weeks ago.

@YoMomma i'm so sorry..i hope y'all are okay now. i was homeless a short time, and it affected me immensely. do they still take people in? if so, how do they vet them?

@foldedunfolding it was a long time ago.. idk not often.. anymore but that explains why you have compassion for them as well .. i did wonder .. i used to pick up hitchhikers and everyone was like "Nooooo!!" 😅

@YoMomma yeahh hitchhikers i have decided against, just bc there are a lot of serial killers and such who do that. but i had gotten to know him and his brother slowly, and his brother owns his own business and such. so i knew there was a little support there.
