Panic attacks.

For those of you prone to panic attacks, what triggers them?

Me - cramped enclosed spaces (shops, buses, lifts, etc).

Hospitals.

Having to deal with too many people to deal with in a day and no "alone-time".

People, usually situations where I have to play nice, welcome them into my home and make conversation.

Having to go to an event where Im expected to interact socially but I don't know anyone.

Having someone correct my every word, my every action and my every effort. A day of this and Im a ball of confused emotion and electricity that needs to hide while it explodes.

@nonsensiclesnail Yes, I prefer to meet people on "neutral ground", even people I know well. I don't go to parties, weddings, funerals, etc
@Fluffybull The worst for me are my husbands work events. I know it sounds silly, but I have to go to Brazil and I'm sick about it. I will be staying in a very nice house. possibly with other people I don't know and have been informed that others are bringing their wives. To most, sane, people this sounds like a good time. I want to throw up and curl into a ball.

@nonsensiclesnail It sounds horrendous to me too! 😰 I like to choose people to socialise with and prefer one-to-one company, not a lot of strangers and their wives!!!!! 😨😱
@Fluffybull thank you! Sometimes I feel as though I’m being unreasonable in my terrors 😁

@nonsensiclesnail It sounds as though you're more of an introvert and your hubby more of an extrovert?
@Fluffybull absolutely! He really doesn’t understand my introverted self.
