Panic over Medical
My mom had been taking Xanax for awhile but her primary doctor wants to switch her to something else because she feels the Xanax is not helping; we tried to tell the damn doctor she is wrong, it does help but mom tries her best not to take many of them because of fear of being low by the 25th.
Each month she is only given 90 tablets which has to last all for 2 months and take 3 tablets everyday. On the 25th of each month mom gets a new prescription of Xanax; she'll put 3 tablets aside for that day then get a calendar so she can organize her pills (meaning she'll put 3 pills aside for each day until the 25th. But when she overly stressed (like after my dad died and two other people in our family became ill from the virus). The doctor told mom that she could take an extra Xanax but she would not prescribe more than 90 pills. Well....mom was put on a different medicine. The new medicine is on her allergy list (she is allergic to it). One of the side effects is it makes her have more anxiety. She don't need that and neither nor do I want to experience this mess either. Its annoying, and I have pity for anyone who suffer with it and I feel sorry for those who have to see a loved one deal with it because it messes up their lives and they too have guilt (like myself.) I can not return back to bed because my mom would come into the room talking so low that I can not hear her; sometimes she'll call the paramedics then they would take her to the hospital; when she get there there is nothing else for them to do because they did tests on her when she went up there for a week.
I honestly don't know what do do. I mean I've doing all I could. I give hugs, I tidy up in the home, (most times forgetting about me, not to sound like a selfish brat). Sigh....
