Can't sleep.

But I'm so tired. It's 3am. I'm freezing cold and have a sweater on with a duvet and a thick fur throw on the bed and now I feel sick too. I'm missing my husband. I have a horrible sense of anxiety every time I shut my eyes. I wish I could turn my feelings off. I don't know how I'm supposed to do life without him.

When it’s more than just “normal grief”
It’s okay to ask for extra support if:
You’re sleeping very little for weeks
Nights feel unbearable or anxiety spikes heavily
You’re feeling persistently low, numb, or overwhelmed
Support can come from a GP, bereavement counselling, or organisations like Cruse Bereavement Support.

Fear not for you are never truly alone, sometimes the mind is trying to protect you from reality, even if we can't see it.

Sounds rough. I've had trouble sleeping recently... though for other reasons. Still recovering from a virus.

I manage 3 to 4 hours, it’s been 6 weeks and I have to believe it’s going to improve
