How do you spend your time at night when you're not able to sleep?

Typically I let myself sink into frustration and despair knowing the next day is going to be a zombie-state miserable sort of day. Tossing and turning, checking the time and the weather (no idea why). I feel like I'm smarter than those thoughts that convince me I could somehow force myself to sleep. Maybe I should make the most of it and watch a movie or play a game or read a book rather than stressing over it.

Usually stay in bed trying to sleep .. sometimes I'll get up and pet the dogs for a bit or pop on SW for a bit, then go back.

Melatonin has been helping some in getting to sleep better and waking up less, as long as nothing sets the dogs off in the middle of the night.
