So my test results came back

And it's seems this new sleep doctor might be a keeper. She was the first person in the last few years to test my thyroid and sure enough I have hyperthyroidism. She said it could be part of the reason why I'm struggling with sleep and why my anxiety and ocd have been so much worse this past year.

So she is starting me on tapazole. She did say be patient because it can take a few weeks for me to notice the effects of the meds. She wants me to keep track of my system. I told her that why I brought my partner lol

Maybe I will finally get some sleep

Awesome!
Are you still seeing the doctor who recommended the previous sleep doctor? Cousin or something?

@Poppies no I won't be seeing that sleep doctor anymore. I'll be staying with this one from now on. I liked her very much

@Cigarguy But I was thinking the old sleep doctor was the cousin of another doctor or therapist you had? What I was wondering was if you still see the one who did the recommending.

@Poppies yes my new neurologist did recommend the sleep doctor that I was seeing. And they are related. But that sleep doctor did not test my thyroid like I asked I do feel a little bad because she was the one that helped me organize and get my meds in a better order. But I just feel like this new doctor I met today is a better fit for me. I'm sure my neurologist will understand. It just comes down to it I have to find somebody that will help me sleep.

@Poppies Joe did a lot of research and found this new doctor she's not very close to us she lives in overland Park Kansas which is quite a drive but like I said if it gets me to sleep it'll be worth it
