try this
lay down (obviously)
take long, slow, deep breaths (you can count them if you want)
ask yourself, "I wonder what I will think of next"
and wait for thoughts to enter your head
when a thought comes in, dismiss it
do not entertain it
let it go
keep breathing deeply
let me know what happens
