Another sleepless night.

I maybe sleep an hour last night and I am feeling it today. I am working from home today because I don't want to risk driving. I have a call into my doctor's office again because they new prescription didn't get sent to the pharmacy. I also ordered a supplement, tea and a few other things people on her suggested for me on here from Amazon. I need to sleep.

There is something called 4-7-8 breathing that might help you fall asleep. If you Google you can find it easily. In a fitness class they taught us another breathing trick that might have been something like inhaling a 5-second breath and then exhaling it for 5 seconds, doing all that 5 times. Anyway I think that one has helped me to fall asleep. I haven't tried the 4-7-8.

@Poppies thanks I will look into it.

Have you tried Melatonin? I am also an insomniac but this does help me. You can get it OTC.

@RICHARD1313 well we all have different things we can use or not and your opinion is valid. Thanks for the input.
You maybe have performance anxiety , I went through a very bad cycle of that with my sleep. I had to train my brain into not caring for it to get it again

@dale74 I cleaned the kitchen, living room and bathrooms . Then I organized the pantry. Then I listen to jazz music until the alarm went off.

What's been disrupting your sleep?
Cigarguy101 · 41-45, M
@Harlem99 my mind starts going 1000 mph and I think of all the things I have to do, need to clean or get ready for the following day.
