This surgery has been hard

The surgery has been much harder than my last one. I don't have hardly any energy, the pain is way worse this time and I am feeling very very depressed. I know it's probably because I had two surgeries so close together and I just need to give myself time to heal. But this hasn't been easy. There's some moments where I feel like I just want to give up and make the pain stop.

One day at a time though right..

I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope you can feel better soon. I’ve only had a heart procedure to look for stuff and do have a serious heart condition, so I know how scary it can be to have that on your mind on top of pain. I know if my cardio told me to avoid stress, yours had to have told you the same.

Sometimes friendships and other things just aren’t meant to be, but if they are they’ll eventually work out. When I’m overstressed I try to think of my kids and how I need to try my best to be calm to not cause any more issues with my heart. I know it is difficult though. You’ve gotten through some craZy stuff, you’ll get through this too 🤍

Stay strong my friend. I know somewhat how you are feeling, having gone through open heart surgery myself, but I can't imagine going through two in a row. But you seem resilient and I know you can overcome this. I got your back brother.

You have been through A LOT it’s completely valid that you’re feeling this way. I promise you it will pass, thankfully. You are so blessed with a family and friends who love and support you, I’m glad you have them. You got this Jeremy. 🤜🤛

@Cigarguys Yikes, so tons of antibiotics for you! Having anesthesia a few times in a row will stomp you down and make you feel depressed. As your heart heals, your energy will spike and you will feel better soon. Hang in there, keep your docs informed of how you are feeling!

@TexChik yes I have been on IV antibiotics for a few weeks and have 2 weeks left then I'll take a pill for 2 weeks and go for a checkup
