Pain pills are necessary evil
This poor sweet girl dealing with broken ribs, having her spleen removed , a punctured lung and have her half liver removed and her foot surgery. And she's having issues with her knee so we may have to have that reevaluated.
so of course she's been on pain pills for quite a while. Since she's been home we've been trying to wean her off of them but days like today she gets her range of motion and she needs them so we give them to her.
So everybody knows what pain pills make harder to do so I gave her a little medicine to help make that issue not so hard. And it worked a little bit too well. We didn't get there in time. She was embarrassed she was mortified she started crying it was awful I felt so bad for her this poor girl doesn't deserve what she's going through she did absolutely nothing wrong and the asshole who hit her this trying to blame this on her.
When she calm down I finally helped get her cleaned up and changed and got her up in bed she was still very upset so I gave her a little bit of anxiety medicine to help calm her down no need to get stressed out and reenter her incisions or anything. She's taking a nap now and I will wake her up for dinner.
