Woke up to my hip hurting really bad 😣

I’ve been trying to sleep on my side lately, but sometimes when I do, the hip on the side I slept on will ache and this morning is the worst it’s hurt so far. 😩 Guess I’ll have to work on my posture when sleeping on my side. It doesn’t hurt every time I do, so I best figure out the correct way to sleep, lol. That are start sleeping on my back again. 🛌

This happens to me as well. Not bad like you're describing, but discomfort in the bottom hip. I'm actually trying to keep notes on what I did the day before and what kind of activity I had in order to try to see some correlation to something that I can control because I CAN'T sleep on my back. I've always been a side sleeper.

So far I can't find any correlation to anything and I refuse to believe it's just because I turned 30 this year. 🙄

@sarabee1995 Try using the shaped pillow between your legs when you sleep on your sides to keep your hips ( femurs) parallel and NOT at an acute angle. 😉 I would tell Alex but we don't talk 🤷🏻‍♀

@TexChik Lol, yes, well, ummm ... She's a back-sleeper, so quite often my upper leg is over her leg. Definitely no "parallelism" involved with my legs! 😉

@sarabee1995 might get your hips looked at… we can’t blame it on the cutie lying next to you !😉

@TexChik She looks at my hips plenty. Any more and I might never get an work done. ;)

@sarabee1995 Do you sit at a desk significantly more than before the hip issue???
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
@Massageman No. I'm rarely at a desk.

I work in my family business, but that is on my feet typically visiting and/or inspecting properties. I'm also in school so that is some desk time, but it's also proctoring exams (on my feet) and lecturing (on my feet). And, I'm in the Navy Reserve and that is mostly on my feet, but some desk time.

Not a lot of desk time in my life. At least, much less than a year ago.
