Will my side effect of a stiff neck go away?

I had a lower back epidural steriod injection in my back for back and hip pain. Not only did it not help it, but I'm in worse pain than I was before. Have had a stiff and painful neck for a week. It won't go away. Do you think it will eventually go away?
