Planter faciitus. What works.

Sitting watching TV and my left heel suddenly feels like its broken. OMG it hurts. Iced it. Stretched it, took aspirin. Might need more. WTF!!!

A little late with this comment but, to toss it out there, calf stretching multiples times a day needs to be on the table. A tennis ball under your foot, and moving it back and forth lengthwise, can help a ton too. If it doesn't go away they do make shoe inserts specifically for that. But it is something you can usually take care of on your own. I had it once on a long solo backpacking trip and it was a few days of a sufferfest. It can be a real owie. But once the pain goes away you do need to keep us with stretching your calves so it doesn't came back. Good luck.

@Ynotisay I kind of discovered that about three weeks ago. Thing was starting to hurt so i stretched. Hurt like a MF at the time ( intense burning, almost electrical) but then it suddenly felt better.

@Tastyfrzz Right on. It's good to have a remedy that works for you.

Only thing that worked for me was seeing a podiatrist and getting an anti-inflamatory injection into the foot.

I can see how people get hooked on pain killers.

Good luck. It was a 7 month process to lessen it for me
