Not right now but soon will be...

I'm trying to convince my urologist that I don't have painful bladder syndrome its an embedded UTI. I've done my research I've sent his secretary an email. Now to wait see what he says. In the meantime I'm running out of antibiotics and he's told me not to take any more. They are the only thing that stop the severe bladder pain I get. Once I stop each course I get two weeks pain free and then the agony starts again. I know it's because the bacteria is building up in my bladder again. I can't believe that urologists don't know about Professor James Malone Lee's research/treatments for chronic UTI's. All the information is out there online. They just aren't bothering to learn. It's so frustrating when I have to my own advocate for this awful bloody illness. Just wish someone would listen to me 😥.

My best friend had to fight for years to get a fibromyalgia diagnosis. His doctor kept insisting it was other things, testing him nonstop for those other things, giving him treatments that didn't work, etc. Sometimes you really do have to advocate for yourself and fight like hell to get the attention and diagnosis you need. It's sad, but doctors never like to admit that they simply don't know something, or admit they were wrong. Good luck 🫂

Did you try going to a different hospital or doctor in another state or another area in your state to get treated for it and drink alot of water helps too to keep it from hurting too.
