My body is in so much pain

Its like my baby bump is crushing me. My hips and back cant take the weight of it. I hate this. How do you moms cope?

It’s not much consolation but you’ll feel immediately better when baby comes out. I couldn’t get up the stairs with my second. She was over 10lbs and breech. So I get you and I sympathise!

@Starsandfire omg im not even scared of labour anymore i just want this baby out of me already. I thinks shes about 5lbs rn estimated to be 8lbs at birth
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@DarkSideoftheMoon i had 2 c sections so I don't know much about labour except when I was induced, but yeah. It gets to a point where you just want them out!! Rest rest rest, slow right down and soon enough you won't be in pain anymore ☺️

@Starsandfire i heard being induced is painful but thats just what i read on those pregnancy facebook groups. They said id need a c section if my placenta didnt move up as it was covering my cervix at 20 weeks but at my 32 week scan it moved up. I was kind of looking forward to the c section but i guess ill just ride the tide and embrace whatever happens. Im just really impatient at this point. 😒
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@DarkSideoftheMoon it wasn't too bad, I wouldn't worry if you go that way. Yes the impatience is real!!! Mine is ten months old and I can vaguely remember haha

@Starsandfire aww ❤ its nice to know theres other moms on here. Im a bit worried if shes going to be really fussy or a nit so fussy baby. Apparently i was a nightmare when i was a baby but my hubs was amazing and hardly cried so i hope she takes after him 🙏
@DarkSideoftheMoon it's good your hubs hardly cried.
DarkSideoftheMoon · 36-40, F
@aboveaverageaveragejoe he was a happy baby and now in his mid 30s hes still a really happy person. I was a nonstop crier and now im dramatic so 🤷
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@DarkSideoftheMoon you'll manage ☺️ remember, they're not being naughty, just babies. Look up fourth trimester. And if baby is totally inconsolable or very colicky, look into cows milk protein allergy. My second settled right down when we had her go dairy free.
DarkSideoftheMoon · 36-40, F
@Starsandfire makes so much sense. I have an allergy to cows milk. It makes me constipated so i was going to try breastfeeding but incase i cant we were going to go with goats milk formula. Maybe skip the cows milk completely and see how that works.

@DarkSideoftheMoon I use nutramigen on prescription for Vi, but I don't know the options for not in the uk. Yeah, worth a try! Or you might get a totally placid, content one. Might happen 🤣
DarkSideoftheMoon · 36-40, F
@Starsandfire god help me. Im just so fortunate to be in the uk and have the maternity leave time to really focus on this stuff. Im on maternity now at 34 weeks and im telling you idk what i would do if i had to work like this. Its terrible and everyone does it. Then having to return back to work so soon. If i was back home in the states id be so stressed out
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
@DarkSideoftheMoon yes! So lucky to have the nhs and decent maternity time off much of the time.
