"Time heals all wounds"

Though I hardly talk about my personal life here,

sometimes I really, really miss my MOM.

They said time heals pain.

But I don't think that emotional pain naturally fades away with time.

Somehow I missed her every single day of my life, and it gave me immense pain.

I was so young at that time.

Later I mostly knew her via her writing, through her friends & colleagues, and my grandma.

My grandfather hardly mentioned her.

He was not ready to accept her death till his last breath.

I am not looking for any sympathy; I just wanted to share.

I understand, but other emotions can soften the pain though it never stops completely.
I lost my partner three years ago next week, so I am still in the process of soothing the pain.

Stay strong lass, be yourself always.

You're not alone, in thoughts nor feelings. Some days my heart is spared the ache, but I mourn my parents an awful lot. 🥹
