Adelina woke up feeling emotional

I wasn’t sleeping anyway, but I saw when she woke up and she was looking troubled. She told me she had a dream about our dog Ulysses who we had to put down recently. She said it wasn’t a bad dream, but it made her think of all the food and other products she bought for him while he was sick that’s still at her house. That we should donate it to animal shelters so other dogs can eat and get well. It was enough to wake Desmond up. But he was consoling her too before he went to go check on Lucas. I held her close. This is so difficult for her. Maybe I’m not as sad because when her and I separated, Uly stayed with her since I got him as a gift to her, so he’s her dog, so I (very regrettably) wasn’t spending nearly as much time with him as she was. I think I’m going to hold her for the rest of the night. I asked Desmond if he’s fine with that and he seemed annoyed I even asked, gave me a frustrated “Yes!” (Just want to be respectful to him) I only hope my holding Adelina close while we sleep still provides her with the comfort it used to. I just feel so badly for her. 😞
