Knowing that someone is going through something is completely different than knowing what they’re actually going through. Grief is an individual experience in terms of pretty much everything: time, intensity, waves, timing, etc. Sometimes grief is insurmountable and no amount of time is going to heal you completely.

At least that is my experience.
What disturbed me most about this latest spout off from a stranger is that he claimed we were now intimately connected. Talked to him twice on public forums.
