Heavenly Stranger

Theres a young man who took his own life 6 years ago. He was in debt and applied for a payday loan but it came with a 5 week delay. He accumulated more debt as he was waiting and became overwhelmed. Since i heard his story ive been interacting with his family and leaving notes on his virtual memorial. I checked my email today and it reminded me that his heavenly anniversary was approaching and like every year i wrote him a note. Is that weird to grieve someone who you've never met? His story just broke my heart . He must have felt so desperate and alone in his final moments. I wish i was there to help him.

No, it's not weird at all! You have a sweet kind heart. It's just so great that you are trying to help the family and you don't even know them. That's true love.

There was a man who drove off of a fishing pier, our spot when we went to the beach. And when I saw the video some joggers had taken of it, my heart broke. And I still grieve him even though I never met him. His family had reported him missing, and that's when they found him.
Payday loans are a seriously shit idea which often lead to spiralling debt. The interest rates are crazy. As much as he felt like it was the answer, it wasn't. It's just a shame that he felt there were no better answers either. I've been in that place with heavy debt, in my case due to gambling. I considered the darker options too. Fortunately I had a very good doctor at the time who made an intervention and guided me towards real help.

Sounds like my life I've got debt piled up around my ears that I'm trying to eliminate but at the same time trying to save up money to move back into my house and need money for construction so I can further my business. And no matter how hard I push I stay just above water. Frustrating as fuck so I understand his predicament. It is definitely enough to make a person snap I know that
@KingofBones1 I totally understand it!

@AngelUnforgiven thank you and half of it the worst part was a situation not even due to my own making. But I've got to climb back out of it now and the worst part is not even having the resourcesary my family is doing all that they can but this was a massive massive mess
What a lovely thing to do. There are just those people whose stories strike a chord deep within us and compel us to act. Nothing weird about it, it’s beautifully human. ❤
