I’m just realising that I used to bully people about all the things that I am

I used to pick on boys who were a bit weak, shy, effeminate etc and it’s really hard to admit, but that’s kind of what I am now that I’m older. I think I only did it to protect myself from other people saying that about me.

It has been said when we h4te someone, it might be because we see a part of ourselves in them that we are not comfortable with.

I mean not always but it can happen.
Besides, when we are kids, we just do not have the maturity level to understand things very well.

Honestly, I’m not sure right now. I do want to do something good, I’d like to go into schools to talk about bullying but I’m really nervous. I’d like to talk to the people that I picked on, I have made some apologies, but maybe not as detailed as they should have been. @SomeMichGuy

sounds like you did it because you weren't yet comforrtable with those parts of yourself so when others reminded you of them you struck at them,

I suppose I would talk about my history and how the tables turned on me because of what I did. I used to ridicule people but now I have very few friends. @Husher

A couple of things, but mainly one of the people stood up to me. I lost a lot of friends as no one wanted to be around me. @Scouser
