Had lunch with my friend Larry…

I forget how we got on the topic, but we were talking about bullies and I was saying how much I’d always despised them, having been a target when young.

Larry said, "I was kind of a bully for a minute." He continued, cheerfully, "But then I got my ass kicked, which nipped that in the bud."

I chuckled in spite of myself, and said, "Well, that’s fair."
He laughed, too. "The circle of life."
