if you’ve never lived with anxiety, you won’t really understand what it’s like to be your own worst enemy.
my mind never shuts off. i overthink, overanalyze, and sometimes i literally make myself mad with my own thoughts. anxiety is feeling watched when no one is even looking. it’s having an attitude about things that haven’t even happened yet. it’s isolating yourself from the world until it feels safe again. it’s always waiting for people to hurt you, feeling like your best is never enough, and questioning every single move you make. i truly hate the way my brain works 😩
